Coombabah and Runaway Bay

Coombabah is popular with families, not only because of its affordability in comparison to Runaway Bay and neighbouring Paradise Point, but also because of its laidback village-style atmosphere. It has a number of parks and waterways, and has easy access to Runaway Bay Hospital and Pine Ridge Conservation Park. The Coomera River is also close at hand and is a popular fishing spot with families.
Bordering the Coomera River lakes system, Coombabah is immediately inland of Paradise Point, Hollywell and Runaway Bay.
Runaway Bay is based around some of the best canal development on the Gold Coast and is one of the few areas to boast bridge-free access to the fabulous Broadwater.
Only minutes by boat to the Gold Coast seaway, the area's excellent boating facilities include a number of public boat ramps in addition to its own wet and dry storage marina.
The area has a great diversity of real estate catering to the first home buyer through to the million dollar investor, with product ranging from duplexes and villas through to high-rise apartments and large canal front homes.

Maggie, from an early age, wanted to travel and explore the world. She visited Australia for the first time at the young age of 17. She returned home to NZ after 15 months but returned again 1 year later for another stint of 15 months before returning to NZ. She travelled extensivley throughout Australia during her visits, the highlight she says "Driving down the centre from Darwin to Adelaide. The wildlife, landscape and camping under the stars were spectacular." In 1979 she travelled to London to work. She then went on to travel through Britain, Europe, America, Egypt, Israel, India and parts of Asia before once more returning to New Zealand in 1981. Maggie then spent the next 25 years working as a legal secretary for large corporate law firms in Aukland. In 2006 Maggie, along with her husband and daughter, decided to have a "seachange" and moved to the Gold Coast. Maggie obtained her resident letting Agents Licence and Sales Certificate and with her husband bought and operates a small management rights business in Coombabah. Maggie has lived in Coombabah for 4 years and knows the area well. She is honest and reliable and believes in old fashioned "customer service".
